About Rex K-12
Rex K-12 offers fun and engaging K-12 computer science courses for students to learn delivered in a way made easy for non-computer science teachers to teach!! If a teacher is not a trained computer scientist, they can still lead a class using the tools built into the proprietary Technology Learning Platform (TLP).
Rex K-12 truly prepares students for their next phase in life including pursuing a higher education, entering the workforce, starting their own business or service in the military. For instance, Rex Academy courses may be eligible to transfer 6 credits or more to the Bachelor of Science in Information Science & Technology degree program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for students wanting to further their computer science course of study. Or, students can pursue one or more of over 10 industry certifications to enter the workforce in highly sought after and financially rewarding fields.
Regardless of age or starting point, any student or teacher can improve their overall technology IQ and learn to code with Python or Java, develop mobile apps, learn cybersecurity, create engaging video games, build fun and useful websites or just add various technology skills they need in order to pass industry standard certifications!
Finally with Rex K-12's "Rex In A Box" solution, schools and districts can provide students with a computer science education by using our state and national standards aligned curriculum taught by a remote computer science teacher if they are unable to proie one themselves! Just add students and Rex will handle the rest!
