Say goodbye to the time-consuming, manual hassles of data integration, and embrace the efficiency of out-of-the-box integration processes. This webinar will demonstrate how easy it can be to create a robust reporting dashboard through a web-based portal, where key indicators are meticulously tracked for a holistic progress overview. Moreover, experience the added convenience of automatically communicating dashboards to students and parents via trackable email. Join us to discover how you can save time and alleviate frustration by harnessing the power of a connected data ecosystem.

WEBINAR: College and Career Engagement for All Learners

We all want the best life outcomes for all of our students. Today, a high school degree is not enough to equip our students for a future in which they will have to compete with increased AI and low-cost foreign labor. Students need to understand that one of the following four outcomes provides them the best chance for health, happiness, and a financially secure future: a two-year degree, a four-year degree, certification in a trade, or a career in the military. Providing students a ‘Why to Try’ strengthens school culture and improves engagement. When students understand the lifelong implications of maximizing their high school experience and plan for their post-secondary destination, everyone wins. Learn how CESA Purchasing partner OnToCollege has partnered with over 750 schools to help get these messages to students through their engaging test prep and college/career readiness tools.

Presenter: Rob Mason

Rob has a bachelor’s degree in Physics and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. He has been teaching high school Physics and coaching football for 29 years. His passion for the mission of helping young people get to college with minimal debt comes from his own experiences. As the son of a single mother, he knew his college choices were limited unless he worked hard to achieve excellent grades and test scores in high school. His grades and scores earned him two scholarships covering all of his undergraduate tuition, so he obtained his Physics degree from Hastings College with zero debt. Rob's teaching skills/experience and his passion to help students succeed after high school is also put to great use as he teaches OnToCollege students. Rob is married to his wife Joni. He enjoys playing with their dogs, biking, hiking, and craft beer.

WEBINAR: Empowering Your District’s School Counselors to Use Data (So They Can Spend More Time WITH Students)

  • Are you a district level school counseling leader with a background other than school counseling? Need ideas on how to best support your school counselors’ professional growth?

  • Has your school counseling team ever attended teacher professional development and thought “how does this apply to my role?”

  • Looking for structure or a framework for your counseling program to help you feel less overwhelmed?

  • Does the word data make your school counselors a little anxious and you’d like them to get more comfortable with it?

  • Would you like to demonstrate the results of your school counseling program with your administration, colleagues, and community but you aren’t sure where to start?

  • Are you ready to make your school counseling program more proactive?

During this interactive session, district-level school counseling leaders and practicing school counselors explore relevant and engaging professional development opportunities for school counselors that focus on utilizing data to move their school counseling programs from random acts of guidance to intentional school counseling. By increasing their data proficiency, school counselors (and district leaders) will learn effective ways to hold themselves accountable, align school counseling programs to your school’s improvement plan and advocate for systems change while providing a multi-tiered, multi-domain system (MTMDSS) of support for ALL students.
