About swits, ltd.

SWITS, Ltd. is a Wisconsin based language service provider that has been rendering language services since 2002. Our mission is to provide our clients with the tools necessary to ensure equal language access in any setting. Our current selection of services includes comprehensive translation services, on-site and telephone interpreting, video remote interpreting, interpreter training, client education, and language evaluations.

SWITS translators and interpreters are qualified, trained professionals that must meet certain criteria. Our translators are assigned based on subject matter expertise and experience, with preference given to those who have attained certification through the American Translators Association (ATA).  SWITS interpreters have received training on interpreter standards, ethics, and protocol. All of our ASL interpreters are nationally certified and Wisconsin licensed. For spoken language interpreters, preference is given to those who have achieved national certification for languages in which certification is available.

SWITS has relevant experience working in educational settings, including working with many Wisconsin school districts to provide written translations of IEPs, school announcements, parent notification letters, etc., as well as spoken language and ASL interpreters for IEP’s, school conferences, parent meetings, and special events including plays, musicals, and sporting events.
